Bife à milanesa (Breaded steak)

Ingredientes: Ingredients:
4 bifes de carne de vaca 4 beefsteaks
1 dente de alho amassado 1 clove of crushed garlic
salsinha picada finely chopped parley
sal e pimenta-do-reino a gosto salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 ovo batido e farinha de rosca para empanar 1 beaten egg and breadcrumbs to coat
óleo para fritar oil for pan-frying
Modo de fazer: Preparation:
1. Bata os bifes com um batedor de carne. 1. Pound the steaks with a meat pounder.
2. Coloque os bifes numa tigela. 2. Put the steaks in a bowl.
3. Tempere os bifes com alho, salsinha, sal e pimenta a gosto.   3. Season the steaks with garlic, parsley, salt and black ground pepper to taste.  
4. Cubra a tigela com um filme plástico. 4. Cover the bowl with a plastic film.
5. Coloque a tigela na geladeira por 1 hora ou mais. 5. Put the bowl in the fridge for 1 hour or longer.
6. Passe os bifes no ovo batido e na farinha de rosca. 6. Deep the steaks in the egg and then coat them in the breadcrumbs.
7. Frite os bifes em óleo quente até dourar. 7. Pan-fry the steaks in hot oil until golden brown. 
8. Coloque os bifes numa folha de papel 8. Put the steaks on a paper towel.
9. Sirva os bifes imediatamente. 9. Serve the steaks immediately.

Remarks:

  • A meat pounder will help tenderize the meat.

  • Choose any kind of tender meat (veal, minute steak, etc.) that you like.

  • You can replace beefsteaks with chicken breast fillets, fish fillets, minute steaks, etc.
