Creme de abacate (Avocado cream)

 

 In Brazil, avocados are used to make desserts, ice-creams and smoothies.

Ingredientes: Ingredients:
1 abacate pequeno 1 small avocado

1 colher de chá de suco de limão

1 teaspoon of lime juice

açúcar a gosto sugar to taste
Modo de fazer: Preparation:
1. Lave o abacate. 1. Wash the avocado.
2. Corte o abacate no meio e tire o caroço. 2. Cut the avocado into two halves and remove the stone.
3. Tire a polpa com uma colher. 3. Scoop out the flesh.
4. Coloque a polpa numa tigela e amasse-a com um garfo. 5. Put the flesh in a bowl and mash it with a fork.
5. Adicione algumas gotas de limão e açúcar a gosto. 4. Add the lime juice and the sugar.
6. Mexa bem todos os ingredientes e sirva. 5. Mix all the ingredients well and serve it.

Remarks:

  • This recipe makes two portions of avocado cream.
  • Brazilians eat avocados with sugar, not with salt and pepper.
  • Brazilian avocados are very big.
