Deixe o feijão de molho de um dia para o outro. |

overnight. |

Escorra a água e coloque o feijão na panela de pressão. |

the beans in the pressure cooker. |

Adicione água suficiente (o dobro da quantidade do feijão) e deixe cozinhar por 30-45 minutos ou até o feijão
ficar macio. |

Remarks:
-
Choose any brown beans. "Pinto"
beans are very good and available in many supermarkets.

Note that one cup of uncooked
beans will double when you cook it.

Cooking the beans in a pressure
cooker will reduce the cooking time.

If you don't have a pressure cooker,
cook the beans in a saucepan, but make sure the beans are always covered by
water.

Don't drain the water once the beans
are cooked.

You can freeze the cooked beans in
storage containers.
