Frango assado (Roasted chicken)

 

Roasted chicken is very easy to prepare and it's delicious. You can serve it with rice, beans and Brazilian styleYou can serve it with rice, beans and Brazilian style potato salad.

Ingredientes: Ingredients:
1 frango em pedaços 1chicken cut into pieces
1-2 dente(s) de alho amassado 1-2 clove(s) of crushed garlic
1 folha de louro 1 bay leaf
salsinha picada finely chopped parley
algumas gotas de limão some drops of lemon juice
sal e pimenta-do-reino a gosto salt and ground black pepper to taste
Modo de fazer: Preparation:
1. Lave o frango e enxugue com uma toalha de papel. 1. Rinse the chicken and dry it with a paper towel.
2. Coloque o frango numa tigela e tempere-o com alho, louro, salsinha, limão, sal e pimenta a gosto. 2. Put the chicken in a bowl and season it with garlic, bay leaf, parsley, lemon, salt and pepper to taste.
3. Cubra a tigela com um filme plástico. 3. Cover the bowl with a plastic film.
4. Coloque a tigela na geladeira por 1 hora ou mais. 4. Put the bowl in the fridge for 1 hour or longer.
5. Coloque o frango numa fôrma untada com óleo. 5. Put the chicken on a baking dish greased with oil.
6. Cubra a fôrma com papel alumínio e asse o frango em forno quente (200 graus) por 30 minutos. 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and roast the chicken in heated oven (350 F) for 30 minutes.
7. Retire o papel alumínio da fôrma e asse o frango por mais 15-20 minutos ou até dourar. 7. Remove the aluminum foil from the baking dish and roast the chicken for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Sirva quente. 8. Serve it hot.

Remarks:

  • If you wish, you can prepare the whole chicken.

  • You can also buy only chicken parts that you like.

  • I love chicken wings. They are delicious and very cheap.
