Patê de atum (Tuna spread)

PORTUGUESE ENGLISH
Ingredientes: Ingredients:
1 lata pequena de atum (185 gr.) 1 small can of tuna (185 g.)
4 colheres de maionese 4 spoons of mayonnaise
sal e pimenta a gosto salt and pepper to taste
salsinha e limão (opcional) parsley and lemon (optional)
1 pacote de torradas ou bolacha água e sal 1 package of toast or cream crackers
Modo de fazer: Preparation:
1. Escorra o atum. 1. Drain the tuna.
2. Ponha o atum numa tigelinha. 2. Put the tuna in a small bowl.
3. Adicione a maionese. 3. Add the mayonnaise.
4. Adicione duas gotinhas de limão, salsinha picada, sal e pimenta a gosto. 4. Add two lemon drops, chopped parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
5. Mexa bem e sirva com torradinhas ou bolacha água e sal. 5. Mix it well and serve it with toast or cream crackers.

Remarks:

  • I prefer to use tuna in brine, but you can use tuna in oil.

  • You can serve it with home-made toasted bread.

  • I love Hellmann's mayonnaise, and "Melba" toast, but you can use any other brand.

  • You can also make delicious sandwiches with this tuna spread.
