The tomato salad
served along with "feijoada" is also known as "vinagrete" (vinaigrette) or "molho
vinagrete" (vinaigrette sauce). |

1. Lave os tomates. |
1. Rinse
the tomatoes. |

Pique o tomate em pedacinhos. |
2. Cut the tomatoes into
small pieces. |
| 3.
Adicione cebola, salsinha e cebolinha picada. |
3. Add finely chopped onion, parsley and spring onion.

| 4.Tempere
a salada de tomate com óleo, vinagre, sal e pimenta a gosto. |
4. Season the tomato salad with
oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. |
Remarks:
-
If you like red pepper,
you can add finely chopped red pepper to the vinaigrette sauce.

If you wish, you can
remove the seeds of the tomatoes, but it's not necessary.

The tomatoes can
also be cut into slices or sections and the addition of onion, parsley and
spring onion is optional if the tomato salad is not served along with "feijoada".
-
For every spoon of vinegar, use 2
spoons of oil.
